Why the blog?
I love all things sweet, in particular baking and creating desserts. I created this blog in order to keep track of my attempts and will focus on cakes, biscuits, desserts and a few other sweet treats along the way. I occasionally turn my attention to savoury stuff and I'll share some of the more interesting creations as long as they have a baking element.A bit about me
I'm a 29 year old teacher from Yorkshire, UK. I love baking in my spare time, which is now somewhat reduced due to my 11 week old son's arrival! My current favourite bakes are loaf cakes as they are pretty straightforward to make which is very helpful when you are juggling cake mix and a baby!
